Last year was the third year for the Taybank Songwriters Festival and like the previous two festivals, was crammed full of some of the best unsigned acoustic music acts around. The 2008 event will again be a free festival with some twenty scheduled acts providing over 12 hours of quality contemporary acoustic music in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
The whole event is based around the Taybank pub "Scotland's Musical Meeting Place", with a daytime outdoor stage in the pub garden (next to the river) and the evening concert taking place in the upstairs music room.

Where is it ?
The Taybank - "Scotland's Musical Meeting Place" is located just next to the river in the the small town of Dunkeld in Perthshire, Scotland. Dunkeld is just off the A9 Perth to Inverness road (approximately 20 minutes drive North of Perth).
The nearest railway station is Dunkeld & Birnam, which is some 10 minutes walk from the Taybank.
